So this here is one of the flaky egg tarts that came back with me from Sydney. I bought them from 3 different shops to make a comparison.


And this is a taro cake from Diamond Cake Shop in Hurstville. It has some kind of starchy paste in the middle but it looks really good!

Dinner

Dinner... well dinner was a roast chicken from Coles that I had much pleasure in attacking the back of. I have more fun with the boney bites than with the breast fillets.

Strawberries, cream, brandy, honey, cointreau, ice, nutmeg

Lamb

Phil cooked this last night but I had it as a late lunch today. It is pan fried lamb chops with asparagus, squash and mashed potato. I peeled the asparagus and potato before I succumbed to being unwell and went to bed.

Snack time

So this was kind of my lunch. It's a bag of fairy floss from the EKKA. I had one third.
